LextEdit is a development tool for database systems.  It is a file editor, semantic parser for many common development languages, and it provides the ability to execute SQL and MSQL commands, displaying the results in a useful data grid.  Packaged with it is a difference tool, a trace profiler for viewing system files, and other tools to aid in SQL and MSQL development.  LextEdit also provides connectivity to ODBC connections for many database systems including Microsoft Excel and Access Databases making it useful for a wide range of users. 

LextEdit is where form meets functionality.  It is designed by, and written by, developers that use LextEdit on a day to day basis.  Thus new features are born from the perspective of a knowledgeable user and making sure that new tools and tweaks satisfies the end users, making for a solid development tool.
