Text/File Differentiation using SyntaxDiff
Syntax Differentiation is a simple and direct tool for quickly comparing differences between two files. Sharp and distinct colorizations allow even the smallest changes to stand out between files. One click on the change in the separator can add or remove a change between the files quickly and efficiently. The Syntax Differentiation tool can be triggered from the main LextEdit window to add in comparing between executions or revisions of a file. Even the smallest change can have a large impact, so don’t let them go unnoticed.
Customize the display to your needs:
- Left-to-Right which allows for point and click changes using the middle control to revert changes.
- Left-above-Right for better visibility when working with long lines of text.
The SyntaxDiff also includes:
- Grammatical Colorization for over 20 included languag
- Optionally display line numbering
- Drag and drop files in to the comparison windows
- Colored bookmarks to quickly browse to change
- Can ignore white space and case differences
